Touch An Animal Day will give attendees the opportunity to see, touch, and learn about animals and plants native to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site and the surrounding communities. SREL graduate students will present research posters on topics ranging from the impacts of coal energy on wildlife to managing wild pig populations. An edible plant display will provide delightful tastings. The event is free and open to the public.
